School Codes and Policies

Butwal Public School believes that there are basic character traits all students must possess in order to assure that school is a safe and productive place. These traits includes self-discipline, integrity, honesty, respect for others, kindness, compassion, courage to do what is right, good judgment, responsibility, good citizenship, and perseverance to pursue what is right.

Butwal Public School has established a code of conduct designed to give the students a set of guidelines to help them build these character traits. The Code of Conduct deals with expected behavior during school hours, on the school bus, in school and when using computers. It also explains what the consequence of any misbehavior will be.

These codes are designed to reflect the wide range of student development levels in the school. There are a variety of consequences that provide staff with the opportunity to meet the specific needs of students at all grade levels. This page contains a summary of the Butwal Public School Student Code of Conduct. Bus Safety Code, and Computer & Related Technology Code of Ethics. The complete versions of these documents can be obtained from the office at any time.
