About BPS

Butwal Public School was established with its motto "Learning through practice" on Baisakh in the year 2059 BS. The School was established by Mr. Hemlal Sharma as the Founder Chairman and Mrs. Meera Sharma(Founder Principal) including Mr. Bishnu Bashyal, Mrs.Premkala Belbase & Mrs. Tejinder Verma as the founder teacher. The first student to join BPS was Susmita Poudel in Class-1. The school had only 22 students upto class-1 in the first year, 2059 BS. It was run in a rented building.

On the auspicious birthday of the school founder, Hem Lal Sharma, the school organized a programme to commemorate the untimely demise of the school taekwondo trainer, Late Ramu Barun, who was a victim of Corona virus and left this world. He had been working at Butwal Public School as a taekwondo trainer for the past ten years. The school felicitated his beloved wife, daughter, son and other family members and announced that the school would provide his daughter, Aaradhya Barun, with free scholarship until she completes her SEE (now she is studying in Grade 5). Also the chairman handed over a cheque of NPr. 25000 and a felicitation certificate to Lata Barun, who is wife of Late Ramu Barun.

Dear parents/Guardians,
We are very thankful to all our parents, students, teachers and well-wishers for giving us support and guidance making this 1st. Term result Distribution a success.

Ministry of Social Development, Bagmati Province Secretary Mr.Ramsaran Sapkota, Under Secretary Mr. Rudra Hari Bhandari and their team visited our school today on 23rd Mangsir 2079. During the session, various ideas and views regarding Child Education System, School Management and Bagless Schooling System were discussed and shared. It was really fruitful session and proud moment for us as well.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Mr. Ramsaran Sapkota, Mr. Rudra Hari Bhandari and the team.
